.. she held my hand

 It shattered with the loudest of sounds, a palpable silence in the commotion all around, 

millions of pieces of broken glass, carrying reflections, of a beautiful ruptured dream,

I must be closer to the sun than I thought, it's melting away, all over the place, am I breaking apart ?

A vanquished spirit lying somewhere amidst this chaos.

Where is the sunshine, am I turning blind ?

Close your eyes dear, look, few light years away, not very far,

there's a silent supernova exploding, unleashing turbulent, destructive forces, 

all these innumerable tiny little stars, aren't just broken pieces my dear,

I see it in your eyes, the glittering stardust. 

She held my hand, we looked up to the skies, each one of those countless twinkling stars, 

shining with brightest of the smiles, perceptions of a blind man, in all lucidity.

in her heart

Shy, hiding behind big white clouds painted on clear blue skies, like a blushing child, 

orange, yellow and everything in between, the sun greeted me with its warmth. 

In all flowers, in all birds, in all sounds, in all colors,

far at a distance, on the green mountain tops, there was so much life, 

in a moment though, I was in their midst, 

and with no laws of physics, I could time travel here at will. 

The soothing sound of river, flowing gently through stones, pebbles, white, blue and green,

and the small little rainbows in every drop of mist,

not in the fairytales, not in the dreams,

Oh, this had to be most beautiful place I'd ever seen, but for my sunshine, where was she ?

I felt her near, very close to me, closest she has even been,

but why couldn't I see ?

I closed my eyes. I could see.

..but all this while where I'd been, 

in her beautiful heart where she always cares, nurtures and loves me.

Happy Anniversary

In a few hours, it would be our fourth anniversary together, excited, yes I'm, but when did life become so busy that I didn't find time.
The pages are blank ..
Something silly, stupid maybe at times but words couldn't escape me.
Forgive me dear.
All these blank pages I'll paint in beautiful colors.
Time might be fourth dimension of the universe but how would it escape us dear, for love is everywhere.

As another wonderful year comes knocking at your door, as you say goodbye to year gone by,
On this bittersweet journey called life, sometimes things might get rough but enjoy every moment and never forget to smile :)

Faith and belief are often under rated, keep your heart open, 
how but with a smile, God takes care of us all the time.

Why did god create infinite stars, so beautiful and bright, yet far away millions of miles,

Even since I was a little boy, I looked up at the sky, wanted to reach for them, don’t know why.

So proud we are to be the only intelligent life ?

In this endless cosmos I feel so small looking at these vast skies,

Every time I talk to the stars they always twinkle and smile, burn all their lives to spread the light,

Isn’t that god speaking to us,

maybe he gave us wings, we are all just too afraid to fly,

or maybe he made it all for the angels, maybe he told them all the secrets of life,

with a sigh of relief I looked into your eyes, and paused ..

There he stood, lost, suffocating in tight grip of dilemma twisted around his heart squeezing the life out of him,

Shoulders of sarvshreshtha dhanurdhar were getting weak, ready to be swallowed he put down his weapons,

This was no ordinary battle, not for the treasures, not for a throne, not for a piece of land,
at war with the self, he was breaking apart.

The charioteer showed him the way, the beginning, the middle, the end of it all,
Those with love in their heart and devotion in eyes saw his cosmic avatar,

From the nothingness to the infinity, in the good, in the evil, Lord Krishna resides in all,

The natkhat makhan chor see's the Arjuna in us all, just call onto him with love, he will steal away all your sorrows,  mellow sounds of kanha's flute will resonate in your heart.

Holding hands

Holding hands we sat by it's shore.
It spoke to us, the comforting sounds of her sacred waters, such was her love, what says it better than peace and quiet.
Sparkling emeralds shimmering in sunshine, mirrored in her reflection millions of sun, such was her beauty, what touches your soul.
Such was her energy, such was the power, we surrendered to her flow, so close yet so far from the frenzy of the world,
only us and stillness,
still holding hands.
Moments like this which brings us closer, such is the bliss, what else could I pray for.

Life keeps getting busy and sometimes we don't find time to express love and gratitude,
Birthday's are just an excuse to let you know, you bring us lots of smiles :)
Another beautiful year has passed by, pretty soon the heavens will open up and someone very special will come into your life,
with humility he will get down on his knees and hold your hand with pride,
like a fairytale it might sound, but always remember, god loves you dearly, you will always be all smiles :)

That's where you are ..

The paper was still blank, tip of the pencil needle sharp, did I hit the writers block ?
Ironic though, in search of some inspiration I closed my eyes and ceased all my thoughts.

Travelling faster than speed of light, within an instant it seemed like I've crossed dimensions of space and time, where was I ?  
No darkness, no light, no earth, no skies, nothing, not even I.
In the vastness of nothing, what is it that I'm looking for ?

When with a sudden silent burst of bright light, nothing turned into infinite.
Witnessing this cosmic play of stars being born,
Gravity pulling everything within and tearing everything apart,
Cosmic inflation expanding universe as if it would never stop.

With infinite probabilities of multiverses being born,
With billions of galaxies to choose from, 

With countless number of stars,
I would always look for that bright blue dot, that's my home, that's where you are.

No easy feat

This is no easy feat :)

Knowing myself, like no one else does,
     I know how difficult I can be,
         three years with me, hence, calls for a celebration indeed.
But knowing you, like no one else does,
               I know you would want nothing for yourself.

So, I thought and I thought ..
Every morning your smile brings me the warmth of sunshine,
looking in your eyes I fall for you every time,
all the small little sacrifices came rushing to my mind,
and I was humbled and lost ..

A promise of eternal togetherness is all I can give, for a fool that I am, it might take me forever to be a man you deserve for life.
