Holding hands

Holding hands we sat by it's shore.
It spoke to us, the comforting sounds of her sacred waters, such was her love, what says it better than peace and quiet.
Sparkling emeralds shimmering in sunshine, mirrored in her reflection millions of sun, such was her beauty, what touches your soul.
Such was her energy, such was the power, we surrendered to her flow, so close yet so far from the frenzy of the world,
only us and stillness,
still holding hands.
Moments like this which brings us closer, such is the bliss, what else could I pray for.
