and then..

Its all still.
The flowers, the trees, the wind.
And then you smile, bring it all to life,
bestowing happiness on others, the morning sunrise.


Its infinite.
Often gazing at the night sky, an endless universe stares back at me,
compelling me to question the purpose of being.
And then I see in your eyes, a reflection of me,
shadows of doubts disappear, trust and sharing is what I need.

I am

Naive that I am, I'm trying to understand,
World is not black and white, grey's do find an expanse.

But I am what I am !

Like the flowers blossoming in sunshine, you bring happiness, pure and divine.

Like the rain drops dancing with ecstasy, every now and then my heart skips a beat.

Like a new born smiling benevolently, you help me discover the innocence in me.

Humbled

Today I stand, stare at the sun,
sunshine slowly pierces through my heart, sweetly it hurts.

Today I fly, faster than speed of light,
cognizant and tranquil, universe comes alive.

Today I reach, the edge of the universe,
far from pale blue dot, stars, galaxies, conscious cosmos, humbled by .... 

Zeal

Sky so high, peaceful, serene, endless it seems.
Embracing nature's tranquility, birds gliding through the wind, in perfect harmony.      
Are those your wings. Spread'em. Fly !


Listen to the silence. It speaks.
More than words can explain, more than experiences can teach, even so subtly.
Go ahead and dream. Miracles aren't that elusive. Believe !

An Apple's worth

Just another day; driving like a programmed machine, eyes on the road, hands behind the wheels.     

Brain multitasking; meetings and presentations planned for the day constantly preempting all else with a free will.

All this while limbic system sending interrupts about the breakfast I had given amiss.

Just like always; I knew where to see, in times like these my laptop bag turns into a fortune cookie,

This time I find an Apple, not much good for me, without much thought I just push it back in.

As I stopped on the next signal, I saw an old man sitting at edge of the street, he looked very sad and hungry so I gave the Apple to him.   

Gladly he accepted the reward and showered blessings on me, was it summer sun or I saw a tear roll down his cheeks.

It was so humbling, what an Apple’s worth could mean.

Happy Birthday Brother :)

Maybe it’s by God's grace or it was destined this way,

Happiness came all along its way cos' its my brothers birthday.

When he is around there is nothing to bother, introvert is he says my father,

My mom's food sways his memory away, let him relish fried chicken and burger's today, cos' its my brothers birthday.

His vision is clear, strives to be  perfect in all the ways, be it his weight ;-)

O hear the voices, the whole universe will pray cos its my brothers birthday.

Faith

Smile through your troubles, whining is for weak,
Eyes still glittering with hope, shouldn't you succumb to this ordeal.
Writing letters to god, naive as it may seem,
Thank almighty for everything, cos' darker the night; sweeter the break of the dawn is.

In your eyes

Many a things heart wants to convey, 
Overwhelmed with emotions, yearning to share,
But when I look in your eyes, at loss of words I find myself yet again.


How can I put in words the mist covered mountains.
How can I pen down music echoed by drops of rain.
Happiness, I suppose, for no other feeling stirs my soul this way.
